Luna Rossa going for the inside position rounding the downwind gate mark.  Luna Rossa attained an overlap, and Shosholoza, who was leading and turned for the mark, was penalized for not keeping clear under Rules 15 and 18.

Downwind after Mark 3: on the last leg, anywhere but at the mark.  Despite what the race viewer shows, the boats did not fly their spinnakers, and engaged in a few round of ACC boxing instead.  The duel continues until Shosholoza picks up their second penalty and must take the penalty turn immediately. The Italians could extend to the finish, ending an epic match race battle.
