Scoring:
A team earns one point for a win. The winner needs to score 7 points. There is no tie-break in the America's Cup Match, and racing will continue until a winner is decided.

Monday, Oct 14, Thursday, Oct 17, and every day after Oct 21 are scheduled Reserve Days, to be used for racing at the Regatta Director's discretion if the original schedule is disrupted. See Regatta Schedule

If the outcome of the match were not decided by Monday, October 21, then racing would likely be held on every feasible day after that, as sailing conditions permitted, until a winner was selected.

Per the America's Cup Protocol, if necessary the Regatta Director is to adjust the schedule with the intention of not having the match end bfore Saturday, Oct 19. A match point race would thus not be held on Friday, Oct 18, and instead would be moved to Saturday. These adjustments would be held in consultation with the competitors, but are the Race Director's decision.
