Argo Challenge -- the challenge to the America’s Cup with an international team of of sailors and disabled athletes -- keeps going on with its job started 5 years ago in order to take part in the 34th edition of the most prestigious sailing event in the world.

Lars Grael, Brazilian, two Olympic medals in Tornado Class, skipper and spirit of the plan, confirms: “America’s Cup is living a general revolution.  We have carefully estimated and we have decided that we could be gone ahead.  Personally, I am very happy for seeing a Cup with the multihulls, because I am sure that the show will not lack.  We know that it will not be easy to take part in the America's cup, as it always has been, and always will be.”

The participation to the meetings in Paris and Dubai has given the possibility to introduce Argo Challenge to the new organization of the event who have showed interest and appreciation in the sports and social aspects of the project.

“The time is truly short and many uncertainties concerning the event will certainly make the team’s job harder.  We have some interesting ‘co-contacts’ that will only be able to become concrete when a definite program will be finally revealed.  The interest in our project is high, especially overseas,” says Antonio Spinelli, Argo Challenge President.

Argo, even with its base in Italy, will represent the nation that will provide the best support to the challenge.

We invite you to see Argo's video at YouTube -- Images of a dream that we hope will become a reality.
