Notes:
* indicates races to be sailed only if needed. Races 6-9 of the Louis Vuitton Playoff Matches (Semi-Finals and Finals) and Races 8-13 of the America's Cup Match will be sailed only as needed for determining the match winner.
All dates and times are Bermuda local time (Atlantic Daylight Time). Race start times may varying from those currently listed depending on weather conditions.
A "Reserve Day" or a "Reserve Day" may be used by for racing to keep the series schedule if a previous race was not completed as planned.
An "Off Day" is one for which no official plans have been published.
Due to broadcast and commercial considerations, the Louis Vuitton Qualifier and Playoff rounds are set by rule to end as originally scheduled, even if due to delay all races in that round have not been sailed, in order to allow the subsequent event to begin as planned. There are accompanying provisions in the RRSAC to determine scoring in such a situation.
The "Best of 9" and "Best of 13" descriptions are nominal, the winner is actually determined by points earned. It is possible through penalties or rules infractions that a team can lose points, requiring additional races to decide a Match winner. Also, see the regatta format for explanation of a points penalty/bonus in the America's Cup Match. 14 races could actually be required to decide the match.
