The chart above shows the distribution of wind speeds recorded for each leg sailed in the regatta listed.  The horizontal axis show wind speed from 1 to 24 knots.  The vertical axis is the number of legs that were officially recorded at each wind speed.  Since each regatta sailed a different number of races, The comparative shape of each graphs is most relevant than the the differences in absolute or relevant height of the graphs. 

Virtually all of the Valencia racing in Act 10 and RR1 was below 15 knots, and the vast majority was below 12 knots.  Most of the RR1 racing in Auckland took place between 10 and 18 knots.
 

The chart above show the distribution of wind speeds recorded for each leg of each round of the 2003 America's Cup and Louis Vuitton Cup in Auckland, New Zealand.  The Louis Vuitton Cup consisted of 2 rounds robin; a quarter-final and quarter-final repechage; a semi-final and a semi-final repechage; and a final series.
 

The chart above shows the distribution of race legs reported at each wind speed, expressed as a percentage of the total number of legs sailed for the entire regatta, the America's Cup match and all rounds of the Louis Vuitton Cup combined.
